This may be the best idea I’ve seen all year. Basically, somebody got three musical instructional tapes (e.g. “Super Chops for Bass”), cut them up and mashed them together, turning the lame playing into something almost magical. My only complaint is that at 6 minutes it kind of overstays it’s welcome.

Three Piece Band
September 29, 20069/11 Themed Stereo Ad?
September 28, 2006Umm. I don’t know what to think of this. An American jetliner flies towards twin silver tower speakers. Probably just an innocent mistake, but if a whole bunch of bloggers could figure oit out how come the hundreds of advertising professionals who had to look at this before it went to print didn’t. The real [...]
Closer to Spock
September 16, 2006Mash up of NIN’s Closer and Star Trek examines what would have happened if Kirk had not gotten a Pon-Farr crazed Spock back to Vulcan in time.
Yeah I changed the theme again.
September 16, 2006I was getting a little bored with the old look as good as it was, so I’m giving this one a try. What I would really love is to make it look like the web circa 1995–all Times New Roman on plain white. The only problem with that is that people probably wouldn’t realize that [...]
iTunes 7 — Buggy or Just Confusing?
September 16, 2006Before I say anything else, let me say that I have been a CoverFlow user for almost 9 months. Ironically I downloaded RC1 on Monday, the day before it became part of iTunes 7. It was one of my favorite programs, and the only problem I had with it was that it wasn’t integrated into [...]
iTunes Server
September 7, 2006I’m probably way behind the geek elite on this one, but i went looking for a more elegant method of centralizing my music repository and I found it.
The majority of my MP3 files are stored on a Fedora Linux Server. I have multiple computers (2 Macs and 2 Windows boxes) and wanted all [...]
Sony Will be out of business in 2 years
September 7, 2006That’s what I think anyway, and some people are starting to agree with me. I’ve slowly been gathering some anti-Sony steam fro the past 5 years. I used to consider their products to be of very high quality and used to go out of my way to buy them (VCRs, Mini-Discs, etc). However, when my [...]
Crikey!
September 7, 2006I was very sad to hear of the Crocodile Hunter’s untimely demise. I always enjoyed watching his exploits. He did die doing what he loved, although I don’t know how comforting that is since I don’t think it would make me feel better if I’m found slumped over my Mac, or have a heart attack [...]
